Common Questions

I can't find an attachment bar for my vehicle; do you make a universal mount?

Unfortunately, we do not make a universal attachment bar, (A-Bar). Due to the enormous forces generated during a collision, for safety reasons, our A-Bars must be vehicle, year & model specific.

Our Multi-Application mount is an alternative for 8" Brother PJ printers in situations where head rest mounting is not possible.

We are constantly adding new A-Bar applications but, if you have a fleet of vehicles that we do not currently cover, please contact us to discuss the possibility of us developing one for your application.

What printers are compatible with your mounting system?

Our Head Rest Mount is currently designed for Brother 8" PJ and 4" RJ mobile printers, as well as the Seiko 4" MP-A40 and Zebra 4" ZQ 520/521 printers.

Does installation require special tools or vehicle modifications?

No. Installation is quick and simple, using a few common tools. No drilling, cutting, or permanent vehicle modifications are necessary. It can be installed or removed in minutes and the printer and printer mounting plate can be moved from car to car by substituting the correct A-Bar.

Will the printer hit me in the head if I sit in the passenger seat?

No. Our printer mounting system was specifically designed to make it safe for the passenger during the operation of the vehicle. We even went as far as crash testing our mounts using high speed video to confirm the passenger's safety. ' Crash Test Video
